Privacy Policy

One policy for every app published by Fr Developers on Google Play. It explains what our apps access, why, where information goes, and the choices you have. Not every app uses every feature, permission, or service described here — each section says when it applies.

Last updated: Developer: Fr Developers, a brand of SalixSoft Platform: Android / Google Play

1About this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to all apps published on Google Play under the developer name Fr Developers, a developer brand of SalixSoft (“we,” “us,” “our”), that link to this page (“apps”). Our apps are general utility and productivity tools. “You” means a person who installs or uses one of them.

Not every app uses every feature, permission, or service described here. Each app uses only what it needs. The permissions an app requests are shown on its Google Play page and in your device settings, and each app’s Data safety section on Google Play describes that specific app.

If an app ever uses data in a way not described here, we will explain it inside that app and update this policy before that version is released.

2No accounts, no sign-up

  • Our apps do not require login, sign-up, or account creation.
  • We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or address to use any app.
  • You download the app and start using it right away.

3Information we collect and share

This section separates what stays on your device, what is collected, and what is shared with third parties. Much of the collected data is gathered automatically by third-party software development kits (SDKs) built into our apps — Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics — rather than by our own code. We still treat it as data our apps collect and disclose it here.

How we use these terms (matching Google Play’s Data safety section):

Collected means data sent off your device by the app, including by SDKs inside it. Shared means data transferred to a third party that may use it for its own purposes. Data sent to a service provider that processes it only on our behalf is collected but not shared.

What stays on your device (not collected)

Settings, PINs, photos, intruder selfies, documents, signatures, notes, and similar content are stored only in the app’s private storage on your device. They are not uploaded to us, to any SDK, or to any cloud storage. If you choose to export, save to a shared folder, or share content with another app, that copy is then handled by wherever you send it.

Data collected automatically

When an app includes ads, analytics, or crash reporting, the following data may be collected:

Data collected automatically, which service collects it, whether it is shared, and why
Data
(Google Play category)
What it includes Collected by Shared? Why
Approximate locationLocation Country, region, or city estimated from your device’s IP address. Not GPS and not precise. AdMob; Firebase Analytics (from a masked IP address) Yes — AdMob shares it with Google. Ad delivery and measurement, regional ad and consent rules, fraud prevention, country/region analytics.
App interactionsApp activity App opens, sessions, screens viewed, features used, and ad views and taps. Firebase Analytics; AdMob Yes — ad-related interactions, via AdMob. Analytics, app improvement, advertising and ad measurement, fraud prevention.
Device or other IDsDevice or other IDs Android advertising ID, app set ID, Firebase app instance ID, Firebase installation ID, Crashlytics installation ID. These are random, resettable identifiers. AdMob; Firebase Analytics; Firebase Crashlytics Yes — advertising ID and app set ID, via AdMob. Showing and measuring ads, limiting how often you see an ad, counting users, linking crash reports to an installation, fraud prevention.
Crash logsApp info and performance Stack traces and app state at the moment of a crash or error. Firebase Crashlytics No — processed on our behalf. Crash reporting, finding and fixing bugs.
DiagnosticsApp info and performance Device model, OS version, app version, language, free memory and storage at a crash; app and ad SDK performance such as launch time, hang rate, and energy use. Firebase Crashlytics; AdMob; Firebase Analytics Yes — AdMob performance data is shared with Google. Crashlytics data is not. Diagnostics, app stability and performance, ad SDK performance.

Data collected only by apps with certain features

Data collected only by apps with specific features
Data
(Google Play category)
What it includes Collected by Shared? Why
Precise locationLocation · apps with location features GPS coordinates, only when you use a location feature and have granted permission. Google Maps Platform No — never passed to AdMob, Analytics, or Crashlytics. App functionality: maps, addresses, nearby places. See section 4.
Purchase historyFinancial info · apps with in-app purchases Product ID and purchase token; Firebase Analytics automatically records purchase events (product ID, product name, price). Never card or bank details. Our verification service (Firebase Cloud Functions); Firebase Analytics No Verifying and restoring purchases, fraud prevention, analytics. See section 11.

What we do not collect

  • Your name, email address, phone number, postal address, or contacts.
  • Photos, intruder selfies, documents, signatures, audio, PINs, or other content you create.
  • Background location, or any GPS location in apps without a location feature.

The data in the tables is linked to random device and app identifiers, not to your name or identity. We do not try to identify you from it, and we do not put personal information into analytics events or crash reports.

If you email us

We receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

4Location

Our apps handle two different kinds of location, in different ways.

Approximate location (apps with ads or analytics)

Applies to:Apps with Google AdMob or Firebase Analytics

  • Like any internet service, Google AdMob and Firebase Analytics receive your device’s IP address when they connect. They may use it to estimate your approximate location (country, region, or city). Firebase Analytics uses a masked IP address for this.
  • This does not use the Location permission or GPS, and it is not precise.
  • It is used to show ads suited to your region, apply regional ad and consent rules, prevent fraud, and produce country- or region-level usage reports.
  • AdMob shares this approximate location with Google, which may use it for its own advertising and fraud-prevention purposes (see section 9).

Precise location (apps with location features)

Applies to:Apps with location features, such as GPS camera tools

Some apps use your precise location only to provide app features, for example showing your location and address on a photo and suggesting nearby places.

  • Location is accessed only after you grant permission.
  • Location is used only while you are actively using the app.
  • To show maps, addresses, and nearby places, your location is sent to Google Maps Platform, which processes it under Google’s privacy policy.
  • We do not store your location on our servers.
  • Your precise GPS location is never passed to AdMob, Firebase Analytics, or Firebase Crashlytics, and is never used by us for advertising or analytics.
  • Location stamped on photos is saved on your device; it leaves your device only if you choose to share the photo.

We never access your location in the background. You can revoke location permission at any time in Android Settings; only the location feature will stop working.

5Camera & Intruder Selfie

Applies to:Security apps with Intruder SelfieApps that take photos or scan documents

The Intruder Selfie feature uses the front camera to take a photo automatically when someone enters a wrong PIN, pattern, or password on your device.

  • Off by default. It works only after you turn it on and grant camera permission (and, where required, device administrator permission).
  • Photos are saved only in app-private storage on your device and are visible only inside the app.
  • You can view and delete photos inside the app at any time. They are also removed if you clear the app’s data or uninstall it.

Intruder photos never leave your device. They are never uploaded, never sent to us, and never shared with any third party, including ads or analytics services.

This feature is meant to protect your own device. Please use it responsibly and in line with local law.

Other camera uses (for example, scanning documents or taking photos) work the same way: images are processed and stored on your device and are not uploaded. Where a security app flashes the camera light as an alert, no image is captured.

6Microphone

Applies to:Apps with clap or whistle detection

Apps with clap or whistle detection read microphone input in real time on your device to detect the sound.

No audio is recorded, stored, or sent anywhere. The app only checks sound characteristics such as loudness and pitch, and does not convert speech to text.

7Features that run while the app is closed

We never access your location in the background.

Some features, such as an armed anti-theft alarm or sound detection, must keep working when the screen is off. These run only after you turn them on, always show a visible notification as Android requires, and can be stopped at any time from the app or the notification.

While a protection mode is armed, security apps may read device sensors and states (such as motion, proximity, charging, and Wi-Fi connection) to detect movement, unplugging, or disconnection. These readings are processed in memory, discarded immediately, and never stored or sent off your device.

If an app crashes while one of these features is running, Firebase Crashlytics may send a crash report then or the next time the app opens, and Firebase Analytics may send queued usage events. These contain only the technical data described in section 3 — never sensor readings or your content.

8App permissions

Our apps request only the permissions their features need, and sensitive permissions are requested when you turn on the related feature, not in advance.

10Advertising

Applies to:Free and ad-supported apps

Free versions of our apps may show ads from Google AdMob, which collects and shares the data described in section 9. Where required (EEA, UK, Switzerland), we ask for your consent before showing personalised ads, and you can change your choice later from the app’s privacy or consent option.

If you do not consent, or you limit ad personalisation, you may still see non-personalised or limited ads. These are based on context such as the app and your approximate location, and Google may still use some data to limit repeat ads, measure ads in aggregate, and prevent fraud.

You can limit ad personalisation at any time:

  • Delete or reset your advertising ID: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
  • Review your Google ad settings: My Ad Center.
  • Remove ads: buy the premium option, where available.

11In-app purchases

Applies to:Apps with in-app purchases or subscriptions

  • Purchases (one-time or subscriptions) are processed only through Google Play Billing, using your Google Play account.
  • To keep purchases secure, the app sends the purchase token and product ID to our verification service on Firebase Cloud Functions, which checks with Google Play whether the purchase is valid, refunded, cancelled, or expired. No personal information is sent.
  • In apps that include Firebase Analytics, purchase events (product ID, product name, and price) are recorded automatically for analytics. They are linked to the app instance ID, not to your identity.
  • Purchases are restored automatically on the same Google account.
  • Refunds follow Google Play’s refund policy.

We never receive your card number, bank details, or billing address.

Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Cancel anytime in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.

12How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. Information leaves your device only in these ways:

  • Shared with Google for advertising. Through AdMob, approximate location, app and ad interactions, device identifiers, and diagnostics are shared with Google, which may use them for its own advertising, measurement, and fraud-prevention purposes.
  • Collected by service providers working for us. Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Cloud Functions, Google Maps Platform, and Google Play Billing process data to provide their services, as described in section 9.
  • when you choose to share content (for example, a photo or PDF);
  • if required by law; or
  • in a business transfer, where this policy will continue to apply.

Under some US state privacy laws (such as California’s), letting ad partners use advertising IDs for personalised ads may count as “sharing.” You can opt out by deleting or resetting your advertising ID, declining personalised ads in the consent message, or contacting us.

14Deleting your data

Data on your device

  • Delete items inside the app, or go to Android Settings → Apps → [app] → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app.
  • Because we have no accounts, there is no account to delete.

Data collected by AdMob, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics

  • This data is linked to random identifiers, not to your name or email, so we usually cannot tell which records belong to you.
  • Clearing app data or reinstalling gives the app new Firebase identifiers, so new data cannot be linked to earlier data.
  • Deleting your advertising ID (Android Settings → Privacy → Ads) stops it being sent; resetting it replaces it with a new one.
  • Data already collected is deleted automatically at the end of the retention periods in section 13.
  • For data Google uses for its own advertising, use Google’s controls, such as My Ad Center.

Asking us to delete data

We do not offer an in-app deletion tool, because our apps have no accounts. You can still ask us to delete data by emailing husnain@salixsoft.net with the app name and, for purchases, your Google Play order number (starts with “GPA.”). We will delete data we hold that we can match to your request, such as purchase verification records, and will use the deletion tools Google provides for analytics data where we can identify it. We aim to respond within 30 days.

15Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR or US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your information, withdraw consent, opt out of personalised advertising, and complain to a data protection authority. Contact us to make a request.

Where laws such as the GDPR require a legal basis, we rely on:

  • Consent — personalised advertising, and any other processing where the law requires consent;
  • Legitimate interests — crash reporting, analytics, security and fraud prevention, and non-personalised ads that keep our apps free;
  • Performance of a contract — providing, verifying, and restoring in-app purchases; and
  • Legal obligations — where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.

16Data security

On-device data is protected by Android’s app sandbox. All data our apps send off your device, including data collected by AdMob, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics, is encrypted in transit over secure HTTPS/TLS connections. Google protects the data it stores under its own security programs. Access to our Firebase, AdMob, and Play Console accounts is limited to authorised team members.

No system is 100% secure, which is why we keep your content on your device wherever possible.

17Children’s privacy

Our apps are intended for users aged 13 and older and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through one of our apps, contact us and we will delete it.

18International processing

Google services may process technical information in other countries, including the United States, using safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required. Data stored only on your device is not transferred.

19Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our apps change. We will update the “Last updated” date, and for important changes we will notify you inside the app.
